Documenting the real-world journey of learning and experimenting with SEO on SEOlutions.com

I’m Curtis Matthews, and SEOlutions is where I talk about learning SEO

I’m a wireless consultant building my own websites. I’m not an SEO expert. This site is where I show what I’m trying, what I’m learning, what worked, and what did not.

Real websites Real testing Real mistakes Real opinions wanted

Why I started SEOlutions

I started SEOlutions.com because I wanted to understand SEO for myself.

I have websites for my wireless business, and I wanted to know why some pages show up in Google and some do not. I wanted to understand what actually helps a page get found.

I also know a lot of regular business owners are in the same position. They have a business. They need a website. They need traffic. But they do not want to pay someone every month without understanding what is being done.

The point of this site is simple:
I am learning SEO by working on my own websites, and I am sharing the process as I go.

I am not trying to sound like an SEO guru

That is not me.

I am a wireless consultant. I know business wireless, customer accounts, phones, upgrades, and service problems. SEO is something I am learning because I need my websites to bring in more business.

So when I post here, I am usually showing something I tried on one of my sites. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it does not. Either way, I want to understand why.

What I want this site to become

I want SEOlutions to become a place where regular business owners can follow along and learn from what I’m doing.

Not theory. Not fancy talk. Not big agency language.

Just real examples from someone building his own sites and trying to figure out what actually moves the needle.

  • What I changed on a page.
  • What Google showed me after.
  • What got clicks.
  • What got ignored.
  • What I’m going to fix next.

The websites I work on

Most of the examples on this site come from my own websites:

These sites are my testing ground. I make changes, watch what happens, and try to learn from the results.

I also want opinions from people who know SEO

That is one of the reasons I created the guest post page.

I am not pretending I have all the answers. If someone has SEO experience and wants to share what they know, I want to hear it. If another business owner tried something and it worked or failed, I want to hear that too.

Have an SEO lesson, mistake, or case study?
You can share it here: Submit a guest post to SEOlutions.

How I use AI

I use AI to help me write, organize, and build pages faster.

But I still have to check the work. I still have to make sure it sounds like me. I still have to make sure it helps a real person who is trying to understand this stuff.

AI can help, but it can also make things sound too polished, too technical, or too fake. That is something I am constantly trying to fix.

What you will find here

  • Updates on what I am doing with my websites.
  • Simple SEO lessons from my own trial and error.
  • Google Search Console screenshots explained in normal terms.
  • Posts about titles, descriptions, internal links, images, and page updates.
  • Honest notes about what confused me and what I figured out.
  • Guest posts and opinions from people who know more than I do.

Who this site is for

This site is for the business owner who says:

  • “I need my website to show up better.”
  • “I do not understand SEO yet.”
  • “I want to learn enough so I can make better decisions.”
  • “I do not want someone making this sound harder than it needs to be.”
  • “I want to see what someone else is actually doing, not just read theory.”

Bottom line

SEOlutions is my learning journal.

I am building websites, testing ideas, asking questions, using AI, making mistakes, and trying to get better.

If that helps another business owner understand SEO a little better, then this site is doing what it is supposed to do.
