Update: I did not get reinstated. After a Reddit user openly said they’d get my Google Business Profile suspended, it was taken down—and it stayed down. Even with 28 five-star reviews, GBP never brought me real business, so I’m documenting what happened and why I’m pivoting away from GBP. This tag keeps a clean record of the harassment, what I tried (appeals/docs), and—most importantly—what I’m doing instead to drive leads: content that ranks, local citations I control, LinkedIn, and direct outreach. If you’re fighting a suspension or wondering whether GBP is worth it, this is my honest case study.
