I’ve dedicated over 35 years of my career to the wireless consulting industry. It all began in 1986 when I started selling wireless devices, specifically Bellsouth Mobility and Cellular One services at the time. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of representing all major wireless carriers in South Florida.

My journey in the industry coincided with the evolution of these carriers’ names, like Omnipoint for T-Mobile, Primeco for Verizon, and Sprint PCS for Sprint. Having worked with and become an expert in various wireless services, I began calling myself the ‘Wireless Consultant.’

Back in the day, my very first email address was wirelessconsultant @ hotmail.com. As my career progressed, I decided to obtain the domain wirelessconsultant.net to better promote my services. Today, I continue to operate as a wireless consultant, but I aspire to achieve higher rankings on Google.

While I expected that my longstanding presence and consistent branding, including my Google Business profile under the name ‘Wireless Consultant,’ would lead to higher rankings, I find myself wondering why this hasn’t been the case.

I do not understand why someone, or a company can take away my rankings by getting backlinks and doing SEO. This makes the playing field unfair for someone like me who just wants to be the best wireless consultant and has 5-star reviews on Google as a wireless consultant.

I do Focus on high-quality content, optimize my website for the keywords that are recommended by Google, and promote my website and content on social media. My Google profile page is Wireless Consultant and has a 5-star rating. Using Google Search Console and Google Analytics is confusing for the regular guy who is not a SEO expert, it is a bit complicated. Everything else Google is recommending is dependent on me paying someone or a company to provide, which I think is unfair.
